WASHINGTON CHARTER STUDENT RECEIVES SCHOOLS FIRST BOOK OF THE SUPERSONIC HUG

If you keep giving, you keep growing – that’s the philosophy of Ron & Christine DiGrandi – recognized humanitarians, authors of The Supersonic Hug children’s book series, and YouTube show hosts: Storytime with Mimi & Grandpa DiGrandi.

This past week they posted a message in the Washington Charter Elementary PD Parents Facebook Group – “We would love to give a free autograph paperback of The Supersonic Hug Begins In The USA to the first reply on this post that comments, “Yes, we want our Supersonic Hug.”

Within minutes, Nancy O., the proud mother of Washington Charter starting first-grader Devon, did as requested and posted her comment, “Yes, we want our Supersonic Hug.”

The Supersonic Hug authors and show hosts immediately followed up with Nancy and gave her the option of meeting in person at a local coffee shop to receive their autographed book, or having the book mailed.

Nancy happily agreed to meet at a local coffee shop and bring her son to surprise him with his new book. The Supersonic Hug children’s book series is an all-in-one colorful storybook and coloring book, which is why the authors also surprised her son with a box of crayons.

“Thank you so much,” Nancy said proudly looking at her son as they both smiled. “Thank you for my book,” Devon exclaimed with excitement.

 After exchanging about 15-minutes of relaxed and pleasant conversation, the author’s watched mom and son depart from their meeting, seeing the smiles and happiness they brought through their gift.
